2/22/22

February 22, 2022

Happy 2/22/22 everyone! Is anyone else as energized about today as I am? I’ll chat a bit about why in a minute but first, I wanted to share about my outfit.

If you’re a reader here, you know that I have been such a fan of Emma Knudsen since her launch in 2016. In fact, I think I was one of the first bloggers that she ever collaborated with, which is something I am truly honored to say. Emma and I have worked together countless times on outfit collaborations, and it has been a true privilege to style her designs these past 6 years. Regretfully, I have to let you all know that Emma is closing up shop due to the pandemic and difficulties within the supply chain. This is likely going to be the last post you’ll see of me wearing new Emma Knudsen pieces but hopefully, this is not a goodbye and just a see you later.

I can’t get enough of this skirt and sweater combination. It is an outfit that, as soon as I put on my body, I felt confident and completely myself in. I could literally wear this look every day and not tire of it. Emma is currently having a closing sale and while I do believe there aren’t many sizes left in these particular styles, there are some stunning pieces that I guarantee you’ll love to add to your closet! Head on over to the Emma Knudsen website to shop the sale and support this incredible female-run, Canadian business!

Now, onto 2/22/22!! YOU GUYS I could not go to sleep tonight without getting a blog post up on this date. While it is a unique day in and of itself because of the palindrome, it also happens to feel extra special for me because 22 is my lucky number.

I’m unsure if I’ve mentioned this here before, but my dad passed away when I was 9 years old. Ever since then I’ve sort of adopted 22 (his birth date) as my favorite/lucky number. 22 has held significance for me for years. However, it wasn’t until this year (and 2021) when I went through my darkest yet biggest year of inner healing, growth, and peace, that 22 started to appear in my daily life.

I mean this number was showing up EVERYWHERE and still is. Every time I look at the clock it is 22 minutes after (even when I finished my first puzzle a few weeks ago, I checked the clock and it was 8:22!), I’d hear the number spoken through multiple mediums, I’d hit shuffle on a playlist and song 22 would be the one that played first. There is more but I’ll spare you. I was/am seeing/hearing 22 SO much that I truly started to believe that my dad was sending me signs from the universe that I was on the right path because of everything I have been shedding and healing this past (almost) year. One day, I decided to ask Alexa what the number 22 meant and it could not have been more accurate as to what I was feeling.

Digging deeper into 22 (if you’re into spiritual meanings) is it said that According to numerology, 22 is referred to as the “Master Number” because of its powerful vibrations. Your angels’ yearning is the source of that tremendous vibration. This number is your angel’s way of telling you that you’re on the right track and that your dreams are about to become a reality.

Seeing the number 22 indicates that your angels have your back and are ready to help you in whatever way they can. These spiritual powers are taking care of and guiding you, and this is a hint from Source Energy to believe in their strength.

Trust, empathy, as well as cooperation, are all strongly associated with the number 22 because of its capacity for duplication. It’s considerably more relevant and strong when the specified vibrational properties are repeated, as they are in the case of number 22.(source)

This meaning could not be more in alignment with everything I have experienced and gone through this year and so I find it no coincidence as to why I was seeing 22 so much. On top of that, when I started seeing the number, I told my mom and she informed me that it was exactly 22 years since my father had passed away which is WILD. About a month ago, my sister texted our family group chat to let us all know that February 22 is 2/22/22 and I was bewildered yet not surprised in the least because it just made sense.

So my friends, happy 2/22/22…the best day of the year in my humble opinion!
