My style has certainly evolved in the last (almost) 5 years since starting this blog. When I started blogging, my outfit choices were all about being a little “extra” or adding that special something that made a look stand out (hello graphic t-shirt, statement necklace & wedge sneakers). Mind you, I was also 22 at the time and still trying to figure out who I was style-wise. It has taken me many years to finally learn what the most flattering silhouettes for my body are, and that less, isn’t necessarily more. I can now confidently say that at 27 I’m in a place where I feel really good about my style. The look I’m wearing here really only consists of 3 pieces, but the dress is a statement piecein and of itself. It doesn’t need anything other than a sleek pair of black ankle strap heels and a basket bag that I think adds that playful, unexpected touch that makes the outfit feel very “me”.
