Highs And Lows

March 9, 2018

{So much fun putting this gift box together for a special birthday last weekend.}

My goodness do I ever feel like I’m buzzing after all of yesterday’s incredible International Women’s Day posts. There was so much love and knowledge shared yesterday by both men and woman and I can truly say I have never felt more empowered than at this time in my life to be a woman. My girlfriend Victoria shared a post yesterday in partnership with Ann Taylor talking about how up until 1940, women were not allowed to wear pants in public without the risk of being arrested. Isn’t that so crazy!? Obviously, things have come a long way since then, but It boggles my mind that equality still isn’t the norm in 2018…and not just for women. Everyone, no matter what gender, race, religion or sexual preference deserves to be treated equally as at the end of the day, we are all HUMAN. It comes down to the simple saying we all learned in kindergarten, “treat all people the way you want to be treated”.  Anyway, that’s enough for me. I hope you all have a wonderful, positive weekend. I’ll see you Monday!
