With the colder weather and long, dark evenings in full swing, I met November with a whole new beauty regime. From an ultra moisturizing lip balm to a festive green eye liner, and a stress-reliving aromatherapy oil, here are my beauty picks from November.

Yves Saint Laurent Dessin Du Reggard Eye Pencil in Amazon Green: I stopped wearing eyeliner for such a long time because someone once told me that I look “too dark and gloomy” with it on. In this persons defence, I was 16 and wore a whole lot of heavy black eyeliner so he was probably correct in saying that. Ever since then I’ve tried to be very natural in my approach to putting on make-up. Sometimes though it is fun to experiment…especially around the holidays! I love this green eyeliner because it really makes my eyes pop, especially when the rest of my makeup is subdued.

Vitruvi Balace Aromatherapy Oil: I mentioned before that this time of year always manages to make me feel stressed out and anxious, like it does to so many others. I don’t take medication for my anxiety so when it hits I usually end up feeling very helpless. Though this oil obviously doesn’t cure my anxious tendencies by any means I do find it extremely comforting to rub on my pulse points a few times a day. I also really like to rub some on the palms of my hands, take a few deep breaths of the oil in and try to be mindful of my surroundings and what I want to accomplish for the day.

Henné Organics Luxury Lip Balm: My lips begin getting very dry, cracked and sensitive this time of year, and it always seems that nothing will fix it…no matter how many products I try. Blossom Lounge recently started carrying Henné Orgaincs who specialize in luxury lip balm and THAT’S IT (I figure a company that passionate about lip balm has got to be good). Henné is jam-packed with moisturizing ingredients like avocado oil, shea butter, beeswax, jojoba, and vitamin E, and it can even be used on dry patches of skin like knees and elbows. It also smells AMAZING. This lip balm is a must try!
