Little Blue Dress and Family Time On The Deck

April 8, 2020

Hi friends! How is everyone holding up this week? I feel like it has really started to sink in for a lot of people, including myself, that staying at home could be our situation for quite some time. I’ve started making it a point to wake up, make our bed, wash my face and get dressed before starting my day. It has really helped set a positive tone for the day ahead and makes me feel more refreshed than when I drag myself out of bed and stay in my pj’s until Edwin’s first nap. To be honest, my outfits while I’m at home are 90% yoga pants and 10% getting dressed up. Yesterday, I got myself ready in the morning and put on a cute outfit that included jeans. As soon as I sat down to play with Edwin and my jeans felt all stiff and tight, I got up and changed into my leggings, lol! Might as well, am I right!? However, this dress I’m wearing from Zara has been the perfect option for hanging out at home in. It’s so comfortable and loose fitting and makes me feel really cute. I wore it at home and on a drive the other day and it put me in such a great mood. Edwin also LOVES when I spin around in it because it flares out. He jumps up and down and it is so cute. After our drive, we decided to shoot some photos out on our deck because I didn’t really feel like scouting for a location to shoot and in reality we are at home 99% of the time. Jamie dressed Edwin this day and I thought he looked absolutely adorable and like such a little man. I didn’t intend to have this be a family centred outfit post but that’s sort of just what happened. Plus, I’m really feeling my husbands isolation hair/facial hair situation so I thought I’d show him off, haha!

What I’m Wearing: Zara Dress (here) // Converse Sneakers (here) // See By Chloe Bag (here in cream) // Earrings (similar)
