{Purple velvet ombré cake from an intimate dessert tasting at Dessert Lady. PS: I decorated this cake and am very proud of it!}

The last couple of days have been both incredibly inspiring and serendipitous which makes heading into the weekend that much sweeter. On Monday evening I had the pleasure of attending an intimate dessert tasting with a few of my closet blogger gal pals at Dessert Lady in Yorkville. We were treated to the most delicious lavender inspired menu and even got to decorate our own lavender inspired cake. It was soooo much fun getting to hang out with like-minded women and just relax, enjoy each others company and of course indulge in goodies (hello lavender marshmallows and crème brûleé). Tuesday was equally as inspiring as I had the chance to spend some time in the jewelry store Bluboho. I was able to spend an hour or so with the lovely owner Cheryl and I have to say that there is not a store in Toronto I have found that made me feel more welcome and at home, which was such an amazing feeling. I am going to be sharing so much more about this incredible store in the coming weeks (and probably months) so be sure to look out for it. I hope you all have a great weekend, see you Monday!
