Keeping It Casual

October 19, 2017

Since being back in Toronto I have been all about keeping my outfits casual and cozy. I love dressing up but let’s face it, after an 18-hour car ride and nothing but computer work to catch up on, jeans and a cozy sweater are all I want to slip into in the mornings (and sweatpants, lots of sweatpants). I had to run a few errands the other day and challenged myself to get a little more stylish with my otherwise basic jeans and sweater combo so I did what any sensible person would do and layered up. My sisters and I recently found the cutest camel sweater jacket from Zara Kids (don’t judge I fit into their clothes but I’ve linked a similar adult option below) which goes with everything and is perfect for the warm fall we’ve been experiencing. I also picked up the coziest scarf at Club Monaco the other day which I normally wouldn’t justify but it is so luxurious and soft and I figure it’s a classic piece I’ll have for a very long time.  I also recently purchased these sneakers that I’d put on my Take Note round-up a few weeks back. I could not stop thinking about them and so I finally pulled the trigger. They are sooo comfortable and make even the most casual fall outfit look elevated. So there you have how I create a stylish, casual fall outfit that is anything but fussy but sure looks good!
