Smash & Tess Holiday Romper and Our 2018 Holiday Home Tour

December 13, 2018

I’m so excited to share with you our 2018 holiday home tour along with this Smash & Tess holiday romper today! This isn’t exactly a full holiday home tour as we’re still finding ourselves getting settled in our home and things aren’t exactly as I’d like them to be to share…however, our living room and “tree” room came together so much better than I had ever expected and I was sooooo excited to share! I’ve taken so many trips to Canadian Tire and Home Sense in the last few weeks and mixed in lots of items we already had to create what I think is my favourite holiday decor yet. It is a mix of silver and gold with pops of pastel thrown in for good measure. I also added in some greenery to our mantel and made a wreath last-minute which I think really pops! The only thing missing from our mantel are our stockings which I ordered from Etsy weeks ago, but they still have yet to arrive…oh well, next year! I also recently had Jamie and his brother move around our furniture in the living room and I purchased a new coffee table from Structube (on sale!) because the one we had previously wasn’t working with the space. I just love how cozy our living room feels now and I’m going to be so sad when I have to take this decor down!

Now, onto the romper! This is “The Holiday Romper” from Smash & Tess. It is pretty much the perfect festive piece because it is like I’m wearing sparkly PJ’s and it doesn’t get better than that. I’m actually wearing it backwards here because I preferred to have the V in the front. I’m not sure if everyone can wear it backwards or if it just works because I have this belly, but I do really like it flipped around. Smash & Tess also has the prettiest long sleeve maroon coloured romper for the holidays that I’m loving, it is more casual than the holiday romper but sooo comfy. There’s also VELVET Romperalls that I’m obsessed with!

I hope you guys enjoy this post. I had so much fun putting everything together and photographing our holiday house. It also felt so special to be sharing this while pregnant because I’m sure I’ll be looking back at these photos for years to come.
