Prim in Plaid

December 20, 2017

Sorry for the late post today guys, I have been a little slack since being back in Halifax, whoops! However, I did want to share this outfit that I wore the other day to celebrate mine and Jamie’s “proposal anniversary”. I’m not sure if that’s actually a thing, but I am the type of person who takes any and all excuses to celebrate moments so that’s what we did. We ended up going to the coffee shop that Jamie and I went to before he proposed followed by the flower shop where he popped the question which has since moved locations (the new location is just as beautiful though!). We then went to dinner at Bar Kismet later that evening. The day Jamie proposed we were surrounded by family which was amazing but we didn’t have a second to ourselves to soak it in, so having dinner together was sort of our way for making up for that. It was freezing on this particular day and I definitely shouldn’t have been in ballet flats, but I just loved how festive my outfit was so I dealt with the cold. You’ll see in a lot of these photos I’m jumping around because I was just trying to keep warm, haha! Anyway, I love wearing plaid during this time of year and this J.Crew shirt is the cutest. I really like how it isn’t a button up flannel and the ruffle is adorable (here’s a link to it since my coat is covering it in most of these photos…like I said, I was cold). I’m also still obsessed with this red coat from Ever New, it makes even the most boring of outfits pop and feel put together. To be honest, this is probably the exact outfit I am going to be wearing come Christmas morning.
