Last week I made a conscious decision to opt out of Toronto Fashion week. While I love watching the shows, seeing friends and getting dressed up, I felt like this season the shows crept up so quickly and I just didn’t have the time to schedule it in. I did head to one event during the week where Kim Newport-Mimran (Pink Tartan) and Chloe and Parris Gorden (Beaufille) hosted a chat about the fashion industry and how the new Microsoft Surface tablet helps them with their business. Before the discussion my sister had rented out a local studio for a school project. I loved how airy and industrial the space was and decided to shoot this full Aritzia look I wore to the tents after she was done with her assignment. I love how these photos turned out and how the outfit blends so well with the back drop. The holographic shoes are also a fun added touch.
