Happy Black Friday everyone! I’m going to be back later here with a special Black Friday edition of my Take Note series so you guys can check out what I’ve been loving from the sales, and have details neatly organized in one place. We actually headed to the states earlier this week since my boyfriend’s parents are in town, and while I didn’t do much shopping I did find a great plaid blazer from the J.Crew outlet and of course a few fun items from Target. On another note, I know that it is Black Friday and everyone is going to be heading to the malls but I do want to take a second to say that there is a balance between shopping at the malls and shopping local. The One of a Kind Show is also on this weekend and there are SO many amazing artisans to be noted. I picked up my holiday cards from Made in Brockton Village which I have done for the last three years and also a delicious ginger ale syrup from 3/4 tonic to make you guessed it, Moscow Mules. If you’re heading there this weekend a few other booths that I highly suggest visiting are Keephouse Studio from Nova Scotia (I did a blog post on them here), Tuck Shop Trading Co. (I LOVE their jackets),  Jarre (they have the coolest food storage products I’ve ever seen), and basically every ceramic booth at the show…some of my faves are Agathe Palavioux, Marjorie Camiré, Atelier Tréma, and Haejin Lee.  Phew…anyway! I hope you all have a great weekend, we are going to be celebrating Jamie’s brothers engagement so it’s going to be a good one! See you Monday.
