Highs And Lows

I made a goal for myself before Christmas to really start paying attention to my physical and mental health, and this week I finally took the plunge and enrolled myself in yoga/barre classes at a nearby centre. Luckily for me, I was also invited to a kickboxing class on Wednesday with Bench. I was able to hang out with some girlfriends and unknowingly punch out a lot of pent up frustration , a win-win in my books! I really needed that kick in the butt (literally, my butt is killing me) to realize that getting exercise and staying physically active is so important to me. I also took a yoga class last night and I’ll be heading to a couple more classes this weekend. I’m so ready to really commit to becoming strong and even though it’s only been 2 classes thus far, I am proud of myself for taking the leap. Have a great weekend everyone, see you Monday.
