Happy Monday everyone! I don’t know about you but the holidays have already started to get to me. I LOVE this time of year but the amount of work that comes with it is almost enough to drive me crazy. Thankfully Jamie and I had a few hours to spare on Friday night so we decided to make the most of it and go on a date. We hadn’t been on a proper date since our anniversary so it felt like it was about time. We headed to Toronto’s new plant-based restaurant, Planta and I cannot say enough about how great our experience was. We didn’t get a chance to make a reservation and while we ended up waiting about an hour for a table, the bar was the perfect place to hang out and sip on cocktails… if you go you have to try the Aloe Views. We also had the best service and were treated to complimentary cauliflower tots for our wait…so sweet! I wore this look out for date night which was both comfortable yet stylish. Typically I like to dress a bit more for Jamie when we go on date night (i.e something more body conscious), but truth be told he couldn’t care less about my outfit and this was just so comfy and easy. I had been waiting for this sweater for 2 months as I tried to order it back in early September and it was sold out in my size. I sent out a notify me by e-mail for it because I just loved it so much so when I got the notification that it was I added it my cart quicker than I’ve ever done before. I just LOOOOVE the exaggerated layered bell sleeves, fluffy grey knit and cropped fit. It’s such a special sweater and compared to the Club Monaco version that I also had my eye on, it’s super affordable.
What I’m Wearing: Sweater; Endless Rose via Revolve (here) // Jeans; Gap (here) // Heels; Express (here) // Scarf; Banana Republic (here) // Bag; c/o NAKD (here) // Lips; Bite Mistletoe (here)
