Blueberry pie is one of those classic desserts that brings back so many childhood memories. Whether it was enjoying a slice after dinner with a big scoop of vanilla ice cream, or sneaking a piece for breakfast the next morning. It was truly a staple in my home growing up. As this was the first pie that I had ever baked, I eased my way in and used a store bought crust and this Williams-Sonoma recipe. Although next time I will definitely try to make my own dough, I figured for my first attempt I’d give myself some leeway. The pie turned out sweet, buttery and made me feel for nostalgic. I just wish it had lasted more than a day.
