Wrap It Up

Considering that I’ve always found wrap dresses to be one the most figure flattering types of dresses (on every body type), I surprised myself recently when I noticed that I didn’t have a single one in my wardrobe. The wrap dress, made popular by Diane Von Furstenberg in the seventies, has been a staple in almost every women’s wardrobe for decades…probably because the style is so dang universal. Truly nothing competes with the way the wrap style hits directly at the most slimming part of the waist and crosses around the neckline to show the perfect amount of skin while still leaving something to the imagination. I recently came across this wrap dress while browsing Revolve and knew that it was something that should be added to my wardrobe. Whether dressed up with classic black pumps or styled down with suede over the knee boots and a leather jacket, this pretty printed wrap dress pays a beautiful homage to the DVF style I’d always coveted.
