Whoa, it feels good to be back after what feels like a very long blog and social media hiatus. While the new year and back to work mentality officially kicked off last week for most, I decided to wait until this Monday to start fresh and give myself just a littttle more time before getting back into the swing of things. As I mentioned in my last blog before Christmas, I have a feeling posts are going to slow down during these next few months. I’m now at the home stretch with my pregnancy (32 weeks!) and our little guy will before here before I know it! I can definitely feel myself getting tired/out of breath quickly and needing to slow down. As much as I feel guilty for cutting back, I know I need to listen to my body and slow down…but I am going to still try to share as much as I can with y’all!
Now to some exciting stuff! We had our baby shower this past Saturday which we literally planned in a week. I can’t wait to share how it all came together because I think we all pulled off such a beautiful party with so little time. I ended up finding this dress on major sale at Zara and was SO happy when it fit me…and in a small no less! I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, Zara has been a maternity style game changer and one of the only non-maternity brands that have I consistently found affordable clothing at throughout my whole pregnancy. Before finding this dress, I tried on a couple that I thought would work at Club Monaco and OMG you guys it was a disaster…I was beet red coming out of the fitting room to show Jamie just how silly some of the dresses looked, haha! Anyway, I’m so glad I found this dress and I got so many lovely compliments on it. Plus, I think I’ll be able to still wear it come spring with some ballet flats. I hope you like my baby shower look!
