Highs And Lows

{Trying to figure out how to move into this space after spending the morning at the  Simone Pérèle event.}

For the first time in what feels like forever, I feel caught up and as though a huge weight has been lifted off my shoulders (weight = a hundred unanswered e-mails). In truth, there’s always something that needs to be done or can be done when you work for yourself, but it does feel so nice to head into the weekend with an actual game plan and a lightened to-do list. Yesterday, after an incredible morning spent with the creative director of Simone Pérèle, I took some time to reflect on how lucky I am to be able to attend such special events and meet such talented people whom I would never have if I’d not started my blog. I’m taking this mentality straight into the weekend and gratitude is going to be a word I remind myself of frequently. I hope you all have a wonderful weekend and happy Cinco De Mayo! If you are celebrating, might I suggest these tacos and this cocktail
{Despire the rain, celebrating the kick-off of Veuve Clicquot’s 5th annual Yellow Week was a ton of fun.}
{I never thought I’d say this, but Google Wifi has made me proud to display a router.}
{This is the face of a girl whose just been slobbered all over.}
{Kitten and The Bear amping up their tea service by offering a chocolate tasting course for a limited time.}
