Christmas Eve is finally here! All of the prepping and planning is over, and now all I have to do is wait for Santa Clause to come! Today Jamie and I are starting a new tradition. We’re going to brunch, and then taking Milo on a walk on the waterfront in Halifax. To me, traditions are the most important part of Christmas. Whether it be opening a pair of Christmas PJ’s on Christmas Eve, eating a special kind of food, or listening to Christmas music on Christmas morning, all of these little traditions make up a family, and that’s what I love. This year a few things have changed in our family. It’s difficult, but as we grow older, replacing the old traditions with the new ones becomes what Christmas is all about. As long as I still have a special place in my heart for what was, I am looking forward to starting new traditions of what is with the people I love the most. Merry Christmas everyone!
