Endless Rose

January 2, 2018

Hello friends! Goodness, it feels as though I’ve been away forever but really it has been under two weeks! How was everyone’s holiday season? I did exactly what I’d hoped to do and disconnected, spent time with those close to me and ate sooo much good (well bad, but good) food. New Year’s Eve was also so much fun. Jamie and I went to one of our favorite restaurants in Halifax, 2 Doors Down and then decided to head to my grandmas to ring in the new year with some of my family. It actually ended up being one of the most fun New Year’s Eve’s we’ve had. Also, if you’re wondering what I wore on NYE, I chose the same canary yellow dress I wore in this post and then swapped my dress out for sparkly leggings and a sweater once at my grandma’s house. I was certainly happy to have been able to dress up and then get into my cozies for the remainder of the evening, haha. Anyway, I guess I’ll move onto this outfit! I packed a few more dressy options in my suitcase for our trip and this pink peplum blouse by Endless Rose was one of them. I picked it up on Shopbop a couple of weeks before we left and think it is just so sweet. I know I’ll be wearing it a whole bunch in February because of the color but the tiered sleeves, cropped fit and the white picot trim on the neck and sleeves are what sold me. It’s so dainty and feminine and I love how it makes jeans feel instantly dressed up. I paired the blouse with these tassel earrings that I found in my stocking from Jamie’s parents (a very sweet gesture as they were in one of my gift guides) and my teddy bear coat that I have found myself wearing almost daily. And that’s it friends, my first outfit post of 2018 and a look that I’ll definitely be repeating again. Happy New Year!
