Classic in White

July 23, 2020

It’s hard to believe that I’ve been wearing Canadian designer Emma Knudsen for just over 4 years now. I remember spotting her on Instagram back in 2016 and immediately reaching out to ask her if she’d like to be featured on my #SpotlightSeries. Since then, I’ve worn pieces from each of her collections and have watched her grow and reach thousands from her partnerships with influencers like Jillian Harris and Monika Hibbs. Truthfully, I feel a little proud because I was one of the first bloggers that Emma ever collaborated with and have just loved working with her ever since! Emma’s latest collection is full of classic feminine yet modern silhouettes that I’m in love with and can wear while I grow (in the belly area) as well. This dress is called the Charlotte dress and is probably the most flattering dress I own. The cut is so classic and I love the crisp white colour. I’m currently 17 weeks pregnant with my second baby, and my belly is bigger than the first time around. This dress is just starting to get too tight (unfortunately). However, it is the perfect first-trimester pregnancy dress. For those with smaller bumps, it would be a good second-trimester option as well! I have another Emma Knudsen dress to share soon and that one is absolutely perfect for an entire pregnancy/postpartum. I styled this look in a more dressy, date night inspired way with heels and a clutch, but I love that there are so many ways this dress could be styled. I picture it with cool white sneakers for a more casual option or a sun hat and sandals as well!
