Butcher’s Daughter

June 12, 2017

While in New York a couple of weeks ago, we stopped for lunch at The Butcher’s Daughter, an (almost) entirely vegan restaurant located in West Village (There’s also a location in Nolita and one in LA and Venice in California). I’d heard great things about this place and when we randomly stumbled upon it and found street parking directly outside we knew that we had to give it a try. It was a gorgeous day so we opted to sit on the patio and enjoy our salads (my mom and I had the Watermelon Ricotta Salad with cashew cheese, Jamie had the Spicy Kale Caesar and my sisters went for the hummus and veggies). The service, atmosphere, and food was all perfection and I will definitely make it a point to head to the Nolita location next time I’m in NYC. I’d also love to check out the Cali locations as they’re just stunning! I kept my outfit pretty simple, wearing denim cut-offs and a frilly blouse I had picked up at Zara the week prior, and added heels to give the look a little extra something. I’m always a fan of cut-offs and heels, I just like to be mindful that the shorts aren’t too short and the heels aren’t too tall.

What I’m Wearing: Levis 501 Shorts (here) // Zara Blouse (here & similar) // Raye Layla Sandals c/o Revolve (here) // J.Crew Clutch (here)
