Leave it to Alexander Wang to come up with one of the most simple yet impactful trends of Spring 2014; button only the first few buttons of a shirt (see here). I just love this concept, it is so easy yet elevates even the most basic of outfits. Although when I was taking pictures for this look, a very well intentioned lady politely let me know that I had missed a few buttons and that my stomach was showing. I guess she just didn’t get the memo that us fashion people will try just about anything to channel the Alexander Wang aesthetic.
