A Little Linen

March 30, 2020

Hello friends and Happy Monday…it is Monday right? Is it just me or are the days blending together for you as well? Truthfully, I do feel very grateful for my situation as Jamie and I are already used to being home together all of the time. We previously had a good routine down when it came to who is working and who is taking care of Edwin and the house, switching off when we need to. I’m not stressed out in that department, but I do worry about what work there will be for me in the coming months as I’m sure most people are. I also truly feel for those who are trying to get used to a new normal. Whether that be having kids who are normally in school home while mom/dad are trying to work, or simply having a spouse home who typically isn’t. All of these things take time and adjustments and I know everyone is just doing the best they can during these unprecedented times.

Jamie and I have been keeping our weekdays pretty much the same aside from leaving the house. We  keep ourselves busy with work, Edwin and lots of organizing which I mentioned last week. On the weekends we try not to do as much work and focus on family and getting outside. We make sure not to be around people and stick to our bubble as Canadas chief public health officer recommends. Saturday we walked around Jamies moms property since she has a lot of space and an ocean view (Jamies mom stayed 6 feet back from us but enjoyed watching Edwin run around) and Sunday we went for a little family walk outside. I got dressed up to take some photos which always feels good. I wore this little linen top that I ordered about a month ago and have been so excited to wear. It’s so light and feminine and dresses up even the most casual pair of jeans.
