Happy Monday everyone! It feels so great to be back after what feels like the longest intentional blogging vacation that I’ve ever taken. I hope each and every one of you had a memorable New Year’s Eve! Jamie and I decided to keep it low key this year and stayed in at the cutest local B&B (more on that tomorrow). Even though our evening was spent eating take out Thai food, watching a movie and playing Pick up Sticks, I still really wanted to get dolled up to ring in the new year. I insisted that even though it was just us two it would still be fun to dress up. I ended up wearing a dress from Club Monaco that I purchased last year for Boxing Day (I tried to link similar below + a very pretty pearl jumpsuit!) I had been waiting for the perfect occasion to wear this dress and didn’t expect it to take an entire year to do so but I’m so glad I waited to wear it for New Year’s this year… it meant no frantic last minute searches for the perfect dress. To be honest, this New Year’s Eve was my idea of the perfect evening and if it was any indication of the year that’s too come, I am very happy about it.

And in case you’re interested, here’s what I wore for New Year’s Eve last year.
