Originally I had picked up this dress (another score from H&M) with intentions to wear it to an upcoming event with single strap heels, a clutch and no hat.
But the other day I found myself staring blankly into my closet searing for inspiration and I decided that there was no better time to pull out this adorable light blue dress and create a casual inspired outfit with it. Most of the time clothing that you purchase for one purpose can be reworked for many other occasions as was the case here. I simply threw on some flat espadrilles and my straw boater (that I can’t seem to get enough of this summer), styled my beachy waves a bit looser and straighter than normal and stepped out the door. This look was also giving me serious vacation outfit inspiration, so whenever I get the chance to travel again this versatile look will be coming with me.
