The Prettiest DIY Valentine’s Day Gift Box

February 7, 2018

There is truly nothing that I enjoy more than creating gift boxes to celebrate special occasions. During the span of this blog, I’ve shared a lavender themed Mother’s Day gift basket, will you be my maid of honour gift boxes (which are quite similar to this!) and even an adult-themed Easter basket. I distinctly remember as far back as high school where I would make gift boxes and baskets for my friends, family and of course Jamie, who was lucky (and I say that lightly) enough to receive my first DIY Valentine’s Day gift box…It involved a wicker basket with magazine clippings glued all over it.  Though…he has kept it tucked away for safe keeping to this day so I must have done something right! Anyway, moving on! This Valentine’s Day I wanted to share a DIY Valentine’s Day gift box that any special gal would love to receive. It includes all the things I love (macarons, rosé, pretty little lingerie, and flowers) and I honestly don’t know who wouldn’t want to receive something as pretty as this on the day of amore. Happy gift box making, friends!

What You’ll Need:
Gift Box
Macarons or Chocolates
Crinkle Paper
Ribbon
Bralette
Rosé
Bath Bomb
Valentine’s Day Card
Flowers (Fresh or a faux…A pre-made arrangement like this would also work great!) For my arrangement, I purchased blush roses and seeded eucalyptus, trimmed tied the bouquet with some twine for under $20.

Assemble:
1. Simply fill your box with crinkle paper, add all of your gifts (the great thing is that the gifts can be whatever you like) and finish with a pretty little ribbon and a handwritten card. I guarantee that if you gift a box like this for Valentine’s Day to your loved one, they will be swooning all year long!
