A Few New Skincare Favourites to Transition Into Spring

February 22, 2018

Recently, I took to Instagram stories to ask you guys if you would be interested in more beauty posts on my blog. The response I received in my poll was an overwhelming YES which made me so excited because I’ve been wanting to amp up beauty content for a while. I was once so on-point with sharing my Monthly Beauty Faves, and I have been wanting to bring it back for a while now which made today’s post in Collaboration with Murale feel like the perfect opportunity to start sharing more beauty content! I’m by no means a beauty or skincare expert, but I do love to try new products and share my thoughts on them so with that being said, I’d also love to know what you’d like to see in regards to beauty content. If you have any suggestions, please leave me a comment or send me an e-mail because I’d love to hear from you!

I’ve partnered up with Murale today to share with you a few skincare products I’ve been loving to transition my skin from winter into spring. I’m definitely one of those people who believes that you should swap your skincare out with the seasons because our skin changes with them. Lately, I’ve been looking for products that brighten, add an even tone and texture and of course, moisturize without leaving an oily film on my skin. I find the winter leaves my skin feeling dull and these 3 products have been great for bringing life back into my skin which is exactly what I look for when transitioning from winter skincare into spring.

On another note, one of the great things about shopping at Murale for beauty products is that I gain points with my PC Optimum card and there are always great rewards and freebies! From today until March 7th, when you spend $125 or more on almost anything at Murale you will receive a tote bag filled with deluxe samples that retail at over $350! Guys, I received this tote and there are SO many goodies that I can’t wait to try out like all of the products I’m sharing here today, some amazing fragrances, the St. Tropez Gradual Tan Plus Sculpt and Glow, the Paul & Joe Moisturizing Foundation Primer, a Stila Stay All Day Liquid Lipstick and SO much more! I’ve shared a couple pictures of the tote and samples down below so be sure to keep reading to check that out and what 3 skincare products I’ve been loving lately. {Tote bag that you will receive full of goodies if you spend $125 or more at Murale.} {Some of the deluxe sized samples that I personally can’t wait to dig in to!}
Eve Lom Gel Balm Cleanser: It is rare that I switch out my cleaners, but recently I found myself becoming bored with the one I’ve been using for a while and wanted to try something new. Enter Eve Lom Gel Balm Cleanser. To be honest, I picked up this cleanser because I loved the look of the bottle but once I began using it, I fell in love. This gel-to-balm formula easily removes makeup and impurities but doesn’t leave my skin feeling tight and dry which is the case with a lot of other cleaners. I personally love the scent of this cleanser but do want to note that if you’re sensitive to scents you may find it strong because of the clove, eucalyptus and hops. Besides the aforementioned ingredients, this cleanser also has grapeseed oil which I have heard does wonders for acne and overall tone of the skin. MyChelle Perfect C Serum: I recently learned that our bodies don’t produce Vitamin C naturally which is why it is so important to add vitamin C into your diet. Besides diet, Vitamin C is also incredible for your skin because it brightens completion and prevents against damage from free radicals. The Mychelle Perfect C Serum has the highest and most active form of Vitamin C which offers complexion brightening benefits as well as improves skins texture and visible signs of ageing while the powerful antioxidants protect against the damage from free radicals. Darphin Chamomile Aromatic Care: I use this face oil every day after applying my vitamin C serum and I just LOVE how it smells…it’s truly a treat to apply. The Darphin Chamomile Aromatic face oil is so calming and soothing and the blend of pure Chamomile, Sandalwood, Sage and Lavender Essential Oils does a wonderful job of calming redness and blotchiness on my skin. I use the smallest amount that I drop into my palms, rub together and gently press into my skin all while breathing in the relaxing scent.
