Season In The Sun

Last weekend Jamie and I attended a friend’s wedding which was actually one of the first we’ve attended together as a couple.

I had been going back and forth on what to wear for a week, as I normally do for such events. I knew it was going to be a hot day but I wanted to dress up and still be able to move around easily. Luckily for me, Mendocino chose me as their next Mendo Muse (I’ll share the post when it is live) which meant I got to shop the store a couple of days before the wedding. When I arrived at Mendocino, the lovely ladies had already pulled this dress for me and I instantly knew it was the one. It’s tight and flowy in all of the right places and can be dressed up or down so easily. I know I’ll be getting a ton of use of it because it’s one of those dresses that takes little effort to look great. Also, as a girl who has been pretty adverse to prints as of late the  botanical print against the light pink base of this dress really stuck a chord with me.
