Highs And Lows

{Two preggo gals enjoying some tea, scones and jam because…obviously! Ps: How cute is my friend Alyssa and her bump!?}

This week has been bittersweet to say the least. While I’ve seen this date looming in my calendar for months now, it always felt like I had more time…until I didn’t. Isn’t that the way it always goes though? We’re leaving for Halifax today and this is the first time that I can officially say it’s for good and not just for the summer, holidays or any other special occasion. After 8 years of memories made in Toronto, we’re starting a whole new chapter with a new house and baby on the way. This is both thrilling and exciting to me yet terrifying and devastating. It’s so hard to compete with so many emotions, but thankfully, Jamie has been nothing but supportive of my feelings and wild emotional breakdowns in the last few weeks…that have absolutely been ramped up due to pregnancy hormones.  However, as I sit here feeling my little guy’s kicks I know that this move is for the best and that we will be making so many new, wonderful memories in Halifax. And for that, I couldn’t be more grateful. Plus, Toronto really isn’t that far away and I know I’ll be back. Thank you all so much for the endless support you’ve shown me in the last 5 years, I hope you’ll continue to follow us on our new journey in Halifax!
