The other day I was making toast for Jamie and I when he realized that we didn’t have any jam in our house. I am fine with peanut butter, honey or just about anything else on my toast but Jamie told me that he considers jam to be a main food group and it was a crime not to have any in our home. I knew that he was joking but later that day I picked up some specialty jam from Cluny and surprised him with it later that evening. The next day we both felt like we needed some fresh baked goods to go with our jam and so I whipped up these blueberry scones with lemon glaze. The funny thing was was that these scones ended up being so buttery, flaky and full of flavour from the blueberries and lemons that we ended up eating all of them sans-jam.
