Modern Classics

November 25, 2013

A trend that has been featured more and more on the streets in the last couple of years is without a doubt leather. Whether it be working patches of leather into leggings, a pocket or a sleeve, leather has made an undoubtable revival that I am positive is here to stay. one particular leather item that I am loving, is the leather t-shirt. Something that may seem hard to pull off in theory, but  when done in the right way can look elegant and classic. The best fit of a leather t-shirt is one that skims your body, not hugging it (that would that look lumpy, and feel sticky). After you have found your perfect leather T, I suggest layering either a turtleneck as pictured here, or a blouse (like this) underneath. Not only will this keep you warm during the winter months, but it will give your look interesting layers and personality. Leather is here to stay, and investing in something like a leather t-shirt that works for day and night is definitely worth the investment!

Since then, I’ve worn pieces from each of her collections and have watched her grow and reach thousands from her partnerships with influencers like Jillian Harris and Monika Hibbs. Truthfully, I feel a little proud because I was one of the first bloggers that Emma ever collaborated with and have just loved working with her ever since! Read more…
