I likely sound like a broken record at this point, but can you believe that Christmas Eve is this Monday!? I think it is safe to say that this year has flown by quicker than any other year which is probably because SO much has happened in these past (almost) 365 days. As I reflect on the year I’ve had, I feel nothing but gratitude for all the blessings I’ve been given. I got married this year to the most wonderful man I’ve ever known, bought a house and moved back to Nova Scotia, and finally, found out I was pregnant which was the most incredible surprise we could have ever asked for. As I approach the last leg of my pregnancy (I’m 30 weeks today) I am overwhelmed with so many emotions. There’s happiness and excitement and of course lots of anxieties. However, I truly can’t wait to tackle this next chapter of our lives as Jamie and I transition into parenthood.
I’m going to be taking some time off for the holidays but will be popping in on Instagram often I am sure. I’ve also not fully decided what blog content will look like in the New Year as that is going to depend on how I am feeling. I might keep 4-5 days a week going on the blog or you might find that I’m slowing down a bit. I’ll be sure to keep you guys posted!
I hope you all have the most wonderful holiday season filled with love and laughter. I know the holidays can be tough for some but there is always light to be found even in the darkest of places. Sending all my love your way. Merry Christmas.
