how-to-wear-a-button-up-skirt-1
As previously mentioned, we did end up heading to a pumpkin patch and dahlia farm just outside of the city this weekend.

I’m positive that this was the coldest day that we’ve experienced thus far and let me tell you I was not dressed for the weather! Nevertheless Jamie, my sister Lorie and I all had the best time picking out our pumpkins to carve later that evening (I carved a ghost in a white pumpkin) while watching Hocus Pocus. Andrew’s Scenic Acres was the perfect place to spend a fall afternoon, they even have a dahlia farm where you can pick your own flowers. I got around 22 dahlias for $19 and they’re so bright and cheery. On out way out we grabbed fresh corn on the cob with butter and oh my gosh was it good! Although my outfit was a little overdressed for a farm I just loved the peachy-pink shade of this Revolve shirt and burgundy shade of this corduroy Uniqlo skirt against the fall colours. I felt a bit like Mandy Moore from the show This is Us (if you haven’t watched it you must!) and I was totally okay with it.
