Highs and Lows & Happy Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving weekend has to be one of my favourites. Besides the over indulgence of food (which is a must), I love our yearly tradition of heading to the market to purchase our groceries, cooking dinner with Jamie and my sisters, picking leaves from outside for our table and just enjoying each others company. It’s been years since I’ve been home in Halifax for Thanksgiving and while I do miss my mom and my other family during this time, I always feel so grateful to have this little family here in Toronto. I decided to just share this one photo that I snapped last weekend on our apple picking trip for my Highs and Lows this week because not only is it fitting but I’ve also decided that I’m going to be taking a little blogger holiday this long weekend. With that said there will be Take Note post today but I do highly suggest heading over to my friend Chloe’s blog and checking out her No Churn Pumpkin Spice Ice Cream. Not only does this ice cream look delicious and easy to make, but her little story that went along with her post gave me such a good laugh! I hope you all have a wonderful Canadian Thanksgiving, I’ll see you Tuesday!
