Highs And Lows

April 28, 2017

{A beautiful brunch hosted by Ufficio and my friend, Rebeca.}

Whew, does anyone else feel like this week was an exceptionally busy one? I felt like I was flying by at lightening speed and barely had a chance to stop and catch a breath. I’m definitely not complaining though because this week also felt incredibly fulfilling. I was able to check a large handful of tasks off of my to-do list, and even though there are still a few more things I want to complete before Friday ends, I do feel a little lighter. Last night, I attended a farewell dinner for Blossom Lounge, the boutique I’d been working at for almost 3 years. It wasn’t something I talked about much on the blog in recent months as at this point I’d only been working there once every couple of weeks. However, it still feels like an amazing chapter of my life has now come to a close and I am now officially on my own in the working world. It’s an exciting and liberating feeling knowing that I am working for myself, but to be honest it is also incredibly anxiety-inducing and intimidating at the same time. I hope you all have an amazing weekend, I’ll see you Monday!

PS: I’ve been lacking in getting my Friday Take Note posts up these last couple of weeks (sorry to anyone who enjoys reading them) but I promise there will be one up this afternoon and in the weeks following!
