Classic in Cream

November 8, 2021

Happy Monday! Early last week we were invited to check out the QEII dream home in Chester. It was such a beautiful fall day that we decided to make the most of it and explore a bit. Before the home tour, we headed about 15 minutes outside of Chester to Mahone Bay to have lunch at The Biscuit Eater. It was such a great spot with delicious food and great service and I can’t wait to go again. After visiting the dream home which was STUNNING, we headed into the town of Chester for a little walk outside. We snapped these photos of Edwin playing around while Eller napped. I knew I wanted to take photos of this outfit because it’s not often you’ll catch me in a hoodie, but I can’t get enough of this classic nude one kindly gifted to me from Tkees. I love the fit and the colour that goes with everything. I paired the hoodie with cream denim mom jeans and shearling slides (also from Tkees) that I haven’t taken off since I got them. They’re SO soft and I love the laid-back yet pulled-together vibe they offer. I also think this look would look extra cool with an oversized trench coat for chiller days. Of course, I matched Edwin in his cream leggings and knit sweater from Maville Mini.  After our walk, we headed over to The Captain’s House to show Edwin where mommy and daddy got married and I actually think he understood and thought it was so special. They’ve since turned the venue into an art gallery so we were able to go inside and take a little tour which was so lovely! For a day that wasn’t really planned out, this ended up being one of my favorite fall family days to date!
