I remember the very first time we took Edwin to the beach a few summers ago. He was about 5 months old and we packed SO much with us, including the car seat. As new parents, we wanted to be extra prepared and cautious. I think we were at the beach all of an hour when we had to pack everything up and head home because baby Edwin didn’t want to nap and became extra fussy. Flash forward a few years later, we have a beach wagon that holds all of our necessities (minus the car seat, haha!), and Edwin and Eller can’t get enough of the beach!! I’m so grateful I have two beach babes because spending time with my toes in the sand during the summer brings me so much happiness and I love to head to the beach as much as possible!
We recently spent a foggy morning at a rocky beach just before sandy Rainbow Haven, a beach I hadn’t visited prior to this summer. We grabbed some Mcdonald’s breakfast to go and Edwin enjoyed his hotcakes on this cozy blanket while I played with Eller and Jamie shot photos.
Pokoloko, an online shop full of the most beautiful artisanal treasures, recently sent us over a bunch of goodies that were perfect to wear and utilize at the beach. I’m wearing a lovely oversized linen dress that acts as the perfect beach coverup, while Edwin looks adorable in this blue poncho. The hood on the poncho came in handy this particular morning as there were sand flies everywhere and Edwin was not thrilled about it! We’re sitting on this striped Moroccan pom-pom throw that I miiight just end up using in our bedroom because the quality is so beautiful and it is so darn cute! Lastly, Eller was sent the sweetest blue striped muslin baby blanket that I like to wrap him up in on chillier summer days. Pokoloko has SO many gorgeous pieces for the home, kids, and wear…I could literally spend hours browsing their selections.
