Are scary cocktails weird or cool? We’re going to go with cool. This Scary Cherry Smash is perfect for Halloween and kid friendly!
This smash is a scary blend of ginger beer, lime juice, and black cherry concentrate making it a crazy good mocktail. If you want to spike things up a bit feel free to add a splash of rum, brandy, or tequila. Tequila gets my vote, always.
If you’ve never had ginger beer it’s like a ridiculously good version of ginger ale. Fever Tree is my favorite, it’s made with pure cane sugar and all-natural ingredients, plus it’s gluten free.
The ginger beer combined with the lime juice and cherry concentrate makes a sweet/spicy drink that’s deliciously good. To make the spooky looking affects all you need to do is drizzle in the concentrate just before serving so it swirls through the glass and creates that eerie look.
If you’re looking for another Halloween inspired cocktail be sure to check out my Smoking Blackberry Sage Margarita from last year! Complete with dry ice it’s sure to be a hit.
