Lipstick Lovin: Revlon Colorburst Balms

February 19, 2014

I have never been that girl who is obsessed with makeup, and I most certainly don’t run to the nearest beauty counter every time a new product becomes available (exception being Benefits Porefessional Agent Zero Shine). Sure I like makeup, and would most definitely feel naked without following my every day routine, but that normally consists of my tried and trusted faves in which I only change up for special occasions. But in the last couple of months I have been given in gift bags and sent for Valentines Day the Revlon Colorbust Matte and Lacquer balms, and let me tell you I am a complete convert. I first received “Striking” and “Tease” in a gift bag a while back and used them occasionally, noticing that every time I wore them they lasted forever and that my lips were left feeling super moisturized and hydrated. Because they weren’t my first choice in colour, I decided I would hold off on posting about the balms. This Valentines Day was when I received my second pair of balms, this time in “Coquette” and “Showy” and I have worn them every day since. I knew immediately that these balms needed to be shared so I picked up one more shade “Unapologetic” and have made you a guide to give you a run through of the balms. Although there are many more matte and lacquer shades to be explored (I have my eyes on Mischievous and Elusive) this is a great guide to get you started on my new favourite lip product!
