On Tuesday I was invited to a fashion presentation at Parlour on Adelaide to view Elan + Castor’s F/W 2014 presentation. Formally called Moose&Beaver, creative director Leah Antoinette felt like the name wasn’t fitting with the designs and brand they wanted to create. The presentation was inspired by style icons such as Jane Birken but I got more of a 1920’s vibe from the collection. The room was dim, like an underground bar from the 20’s and jazz music filled the air. It was a lovely evening full of cocktails, a tasting menu and of course fashion. Personally, I couldn’t have been happier to wear a pencil skirt with bare legs so I was in a great mood all evening.
